Introducing Peter Crone
If you’re not familiar, Peter Crone helps people expand their health, wealth and relationships at a deep and lasting level. He offers workshops, a three month master mind, high level coaching and a super affordable membership to his teachings.
If you’re new to Peter, let me give you a crash course… He goes freakin’ deep. If you’d like to get to the root of your money problems, Actually scratch that. If you’d like to get to the root of ALL of your Problems, I think you’ll like the workshop.
Peter’s Financial Freedom Workshop
Originally recorded live, Peter presents to a few hundred people on a zoom call. There’s 4 sessions total where he teaches first and then works with people one-on-one to help them integrate the lessons.
It’s kind of like watching a therapist work with with a client in real-time only the therapist is also a magician. What I mean is that most of the people on the call have been struggling with money for decades and Peter helps them discover freedom in minutes. You really have to see it to believe it
I love this format because as he works with each person, it’s like looking into a mirror - reflecting back all of my financial limitations plus, it’s comforting to know that I’m not alone.
My Life Before Financial Freedom
As I get into things, let me give you a little context… I discovered Peter several years ago, at the lowest point of my life. I was struggling with anxiety, I was extremely unhappy and very lonely but when I heard Peter speak on the Aubrey Marcus podcast, I had hope for the first time in a long time.
I spent the next few years listening and absorbing his teachings - starting with free podcast interviews, then a couple of his workshops and eventually graduated his mastermind (shout out to Mastermind 1!) Thanks to Peter, I learned how to reduce my anxiety, heal my relationships and create genuine happiness..
Running parallel to all of this, I’d been splitting my money - my debt was gone, my accounts were full and thanks to the Big Split Practice, I was in the best financial position of my life. On the surface, things looked great but the truth was, I had hit a wall and I wasn’t sure why. And that’s when Peter announced his Financial Freedom Workshop..
The Internal Vs The External
I spent most of my life worrying that there was never enough. So, I hustled to make more, I saved, I improved my spending habits, I built safety nets and got my money working for me. I did all the things and I finally had money - but I still wanted more.
And that’s when Peter reflected back one of my blind spots. In his words,
“Most people think they have to change their circumstances to elicit the experience that they want. No. You shift you. And then, your circumstances will adjust.”
It was so simple: When I try to “fix” the external I stay stuck. But when I address the Internal, I liberate myself
As I looked inward, I realized my beliefs about money had formed when I was a little boy - Thinking there was never enough - that started when I was 12 - Lil’ Lukie was jealous that the other kids had named brand stuff so he promised himself that he’d work hard & never be poor.
Little Lukie’s story hadn’t been true for a long time so I let it go. And then I got clear on all of the beliefs and behaviors that were holding me back. I learned how to let them go and started practicing more productive financial behaviors. If you’d like to learn how I did this, check out this special 4 part series..
Thanks to the workshop, I made more progress in a month addressing the internal than I had made in ten years by trying to fix the external. And that brings us to the 2nd major benefit
Being a Victim Vs Creating Your Life and Finances
In Peter’s words,
“If you think your Freedom is dictated by your finances, then you are un-free”
Let me say that again… If you think your Freedom is dictated by your finances, then you’re not free. I had just spent 5 years “doing the work” and taking responsibility for my life - I thought I was in a great place but Peter’s words were like a smack to the face, waking me up to reality. When it came to money, I was still playing a victim.
My pursuit for more was the prison and I hadn’t free been for a long time. I was so afraid of not having enough I constantly chased more. From 15 to 38 I hustled to fill my accounts often turning down social invites and time with loved ones.
I was allowing the number in my account or, lack thereof, to dictate how I was living my life And that’s when Peter dropped another truth,
“The most successful people I know, have no focus on finance. They focus on qualities of existence. Their own true freedom, their own true peace, their own true inner sense of worth”
His words helped me realize that I was chasing things that were draining my joy. I was focused on pop culture’s idea of success instead of my own.
To me, true success is a calm nervous system. It’s laughing and smiling a hundred times a day. It’s a clear mind and a healthy body, it’s creating and contributing to others and spending time with loved ones.
I was doing none of that because I was too busy chasing more. And that’s when Peter handed me the keys to free myself.
A Shift in Perspective
After watching Peter work with multiple people, I realized that I had been buried under a mountain of financial baggage that I’d been accumulating for decades. But, as I removed each piece, I shifted away from being a victim.
I went from being under the pile to clearing the pile and that shift in perspective freed me up to create a new, healthier relationship with money.
If you had enough, how would you spend your time? If you were free from financial stress and worry, how would you feel? As Peter asked these questions I realized that I hadn’t considered the possibilities.
“What would I do if I had plenty?” “How would I feel if I were free from financial stress and worry?” - Easy.. I’d feel lighter, more relaxed, I’d create and contribute more and spend more time with loved ones. All of that sounded so much better than hustling for more.
For me, the third and most important benefit of the workshop was Peter inviting me to shift my perspective and look at my finances through new eyes.
He encouraged me to get curious and focus on what becomes possible once I’m free from the financial baggage. Now, everywhere I look, I see Possibility and to me, that’s worth more than gold.
How the Course Has Helped Me
One of the coolest things about this workshop is that once Peter smacks you in the face with a few hard truths, he then hands you several wonderful gifts. The workshop also helped me:
Identify the root cause of all my financial problems
Move away from being a victim and start creating my life
Shift my Perspective to one that’s a lot more helpful
Break free from 3 decades on financial worry
Be more relaxed and confident with money
Break free from thinking and feeling that there’s not enough
Who is the Workshop for?
If you want to be free from financial worry, feel more at ease and confident with money or you’re ready to take your finances to the next level, I think you’ll derive a lot of value from Peter’s Financial Freedom Workshop.
